Edward "Ed" Charles Podivinsky (born March 8, 1970) is a Canadian alpine skier with Czech ancestry who competed in the 1994 Winter Olympics, in the 1998 Winter Olympics, and in the 2002 Winter Olympics.

He was born in Edmonton. He has a brother name Thomas.

In 1994 he won the bronze medal in the Alpine downhill event.

In August 2011, Ed was a member of the championship Stonecutters team. http://finoss.com/stonecutters/ (first row second from the left) The team played in the Burlington Ball Hockey League (BBHL). Ed was a well respected leader and thus named an assistant captain in his first year. He is considered by his peers as one of the best defensemen in the league.
